Cumming leads for Conservatives in Edmonton Centre

Liberals’ Boissonault, NDP’s McGowan tied in 2nd

TORONTO September 24th, 2015 - In a random sampling of public opinion taken by the Forum Poll™ among 524 voters in the newly distributed federal riding of Edmonton Centre, 4-in-10 will vote for the Conservative candidate, James Cumming (40%), while about 3-in-10 or just fewer will vote NDP (Gil McGowan - 30%) or Liberal (Randy Boissonault - 27%). Few will vote Green (4%).

This riding was held, in its former incarnation, by Laurie Hawn, who was well-liked by members of all the parties. It appears his legacy is helping the Conservative candidate in this seat," said Forum Research President, Dr. Lorne Bozinoff.
