Brown and Jeffrey are Tied

Toronto, October 19th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 647 Brampton voters, amongst those decided and leaning, if an election were held today, Patrick Brown would secure support from 4 in 10 (40%), the same proportion as Linda Jeffrey (40%) 

 

1 in 10 respondents (7%) support John Sprovieri and (5%) support Wesley Jackson.

 

A few support Bal Gosal (4%), Vinod Kumar Mahesan (4%), and Mansoor Ameersulthan (1%).



 

Brown and Jeffrey also tied on positive and negative feelings

A little over one-third of respondents (35%) have a “negative” opinion of Patrick Brown. Likewise, 3 in 10 (34%) of respondents have a “negative” opinion of Linda Jeffrey. About 4 in 10 (38%) of respondents have a “positive” opinion of Patrick Brown and (38%) “positive” opinion of Linda Jeffrey.


“Brown and Jeffrey are completely even going into the final weekend so the race is all going to come down to who can get their vote out most effectively,” said Dr. Lorne Bozinoff, President of Forum Research.
