Liberals Hold Lead Over Conservatives Heading into Election Day
April 27, 2025
Toronto, April 27th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 1,153 Canadian voters ahead of the April 28th federal election, 43% of those who are decided or leaning are likely to vote for the Liberal Party while 39% are likely to vote for the Conservative Party. Support for the New Democratic Party (NDP) is at 8%, followed by the Bloc Québécois at 6%, the Green Party at 2%, the People’s Party of Canada (PPC) at 1%, and other parties at 1%.
Progressive Conservatives projected to win the Ontario provincial election

Toronto, February 26th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 1,013 Ontario voters ahead of the February 27th provincial election, 40.6% of those who are decided or leaning are likely to vote for the Progressive Conservatives, 31.8% are likely to vote for the Liberal Party, while 19.9% are likely to vote for the New Democratic Party. Voter support is low for the Green party (5.1%) and other parties (2.6%).

Voter support is low for the Green party (2.1%) and other parties (2.9%).

Toronto, October 20th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 2,428 New Brunswick voters ahead of the October 21st provincial election, 45.7% of those who are decided or leaning are likely to vote for the Liberal Party while 37.1% are likely to vote for the Progressive Conservative Party. Toronto, September 11, 2021 – A nation-wide poll conducted by Forum Research on September 10th among eligible Canadian voters shows that the majority of Canadians were aware of the federal election debates. When asked, 57% of Canadians said they were aware of the French debate, which took place on September 8th, and 66% of Canadians said they were aware of the English debate, which took place on September 9th.
