Half Are Unsatisfied With Canadian Government’s Response To Opioid Addiction

Toronto, July 4th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 1812 Canadian voters, almost half (BTM2: 48%) are not satisfied with the federal government’s response to opioid addiction in Canada, with about a quarter (28%) saying they are not satisfied at all.

Almost Half Disapprove of Reducing Blood Alcohol Limit

Toronto, August 23rd – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ amongst 1150 Canadian voters, almost half (BTM2: 49%) disapprove of the proposal to lower the legal blood alcohol limit from 0.08 to 0.05, with more than a third (36%) saying they strongly disapprove. Just under four in ten (TOP2: 38%) approve of the proposal, with a quarter (25%) saying they strongly approve.
Canada Divided on the Monarchy

Toronto, August 23rd – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ amongst 1150 Canadian voters, almost half of Canadians (43%) are opposed to abolishing the monarchy after the death of Queen Elizabeth, while (41%) are in favour, a statistical tie. Just over one in ten (16%) said they do not know.

Toronto, April 26th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ amongst 1479 Canadian voters, more than half (53%) say that they agree that marijuana should be legal in Canada. (38%) disagree, fewer than 1-in-10 report they do not know (9%).
Muslims the Target of Most Racial Bias

In a random sampling of public opinion taken by the Forum Poll™ among 1304 Canadian adults, 4-in-10 express some level of bias, or unfavourable feelings, against identifiable racial groups (41%), and the one group most like to be a target is Muslims (28% unfavourable feelings, 54% favourable feelings).
