Parm Gill with slim lead in Brampton North
Sahota close behind
TORONTO
October 5th, 2015 - In a random sampling of public opinion taken by
the Forum Poll™ among 336 voters in the new GTA federal
riding of Brampton North, close to 4-in-10 will vote for the Conservative
quasi-incumbent, Parm Gill (39%), while just fewer will vote for the Liberal
candidate, Ruby Sahota (34%). About one quarter will vote NDP (Martin Singh -
24%) and few will vote Green (2%).
“Parm
Gill represented the previous riding of Brampton-Springdale since 2011, and
some say before that. It looks like he will bring a good measure of his support
to this new riding,” said Forum Research President, Dr. Lorne Bozinoff.
