Bundled Programming Preferred to ' Pick and Pay'

In a random sampling of public opinion taken by the Forum Poll™ among 1202 cable subscribers across Canada, one half prefer the current model of cable TV pricing, where channels are sold in 'bundles' (48%), while one third prefer a model similar to the CRTC's proposed 'Pick and Pay' system (33%).

Very few untouched by cancer

As many as 9-in-10 Canadians have been closely touched by cancer (92% in total), either as a close family member of someone who had died of cancer (35%) or of someone who has had cancer and survived (26%), followed by those who have had cancer themselves (10%).

Narrow approval for women topless at beaches

In a random sampling of public opinion taken by the Forum Poll™ among 931 Toronto voters, narrowly more approve of the idea of women going topless at Toronto's beaches (46%) than disapprove (41%), while one tenth have no opinion on this critical issue (13%).

Majority in Toronto think union gains are at risk today

The majority agree that union workplace advances like the weekend, paid holidays and maternity leave are at risk in today's political climate (57%), and a similar proportion agree that the Canadian labour movement is under assault by employers and government who want to reduce its influence (56%).

One quarter of public as likley to use UPX at $20 as at $10

In a random sampling of public opinion taken by the Forum Poll™ among 931 Toronto voters, 4-in-10 are very likely to use the Pearson-Union Station Express if the fare is $10 one way (41%) and this is out of two thirds who are likely to use it in total (63%).
