Trump's Approval Virtually
Unchanged
Still disapproved by two-thirds of Canadians
Toronto, March 24th
– In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 1029
Canadian voters, Donald Trump's approval rests at only (22%), the same as last
month (Feb 26th: 22%). His disapproval (65%), while effectively the same as
last month (Feb 26th: 66%), is one point lower. Those who respond that they do
not know stand at (12%), one point higher than last month (Feb 26th: 11%).
Approval is common
to males (30%), the most wealthy (28%) and the least wealthy (25%), Albertans
(32%), Conservative voters (43%), and the least educated (31%).
Disapproval is
common to the oldest (70%), those between 55 - 64 (67%), and the youngest
(68%). Those earning $20,000-$40,000 (70%), $40,000-$60,000 (68%), and $60,000-$80,000
(70%) are also likely to disapprove of Trump.
Those living in Québec (71%) or BC (70%),
supporting the BQ (90%), or with a college or university degree (70%) are
highly likely to be opposed to Donald Trump.

overall approval numbers have shown little variation since his inauguration. For now, those that like him, like him. Those that don't,
don't. There's been nothing to date that's changed anyone's mind about Trump,” said
