The Forum PollTM Accurately
Forecasts Alberta Election
Most accurate of 11 polling firms
TORONTO, April 29th – The Forum
Poll successfully predicted the outcome of the Alberta provincial election of April
16th, 2019. Forum’s Interactive Voice Response (IVR) polling
methodology once again proves to be a precise tool for measuring public
opinion, accurately predicting the election. Forum’s election prediction proved
to be far more accurate than competitors.
Forum’s vote share prediction was well ahead
of all other firms.
Forum’s seat prediction was also extremely precise,
it suggested that the UCP would win a majority with 67 seats, the NDP would
serve as official opposition with 19, and the Alberta party would win one.
It deviated from the results by an average of
only two seats.
“Once again The Forum Poll, and our IVR methodology, proves an
extremely reliable predictor of public opinion,” said Forum Research President, Dr. Lorne
Bozinoff. “We were able to accurately project the large gap in percentage between
the UCP and the NDP, and very precisely determine the number of seats both for
the new government and the official opposition.”
