Navdeep Bains leads in Mississauga-Malton

Conservatives and NDP strive for second

TORONTO October 3rd, 2015 - In a random sampling of public opinion taken by the Forum Poll™ among 335 voters in the new GTA federal riding of Mississauga-Malton, close to one half of voters will support the Liberal candidate, the former quasi-incumbent, Navdeep Bains (44%), while 3-in-10 will support his Conservative challenger, Jagdish Grewal (29%) and about one fifth will vote NDP (Dianne Douglas- 20%). Few will vote Green (5%) or for other parties (2%).

“Navdeep Bains was a popular member who was swept aside in the Conservative majority of 2011. It looks like he’s might find his way back into the Liberal caucus,” said Forum Research President, Dr. Lorne Bozinoff.
