Conservatives, Liberals tied in York Centre

Adler and Levitt at parity

TORONTO October 5th, 2015 - In a random sampling of public opinion taken by the Forum Poll™ among 387 voters in the very slightly redistricted Toronto federal riding of York Centre, identical proportions, about 4-in-10, will vote either for the Conservative incumbent, Mark Adler (40%) or his Liberal challenger, Michael Levitt (39%). The NDP will take less than a fifth of the vote (17%) and the Greens will take very few (3%) as will other parties (2%).

“This riding has been a Liberal stronghold for more than 50 years prior to the Conservative majority of 2011, when, Mark Adler won the million dollar shot to take it. It may be a struggle for him to keep, though,” said Forum Research President, Dr. Lorne Bozinoff.
