Tory leads

Tory’s support (63%) is well above Keesmaat (23%) in York South-Weston.

About one-sixth (14%) of York South-Weston voters say they are supporting one of the other candidates.

“Nunziata looks very likely to keep her seat,” said Dr. Lorne Bozinoff, President of Forum Research. “Incumbent Frank Di Giorgio is battling newcomer Chiara Padovani for second place, and at this point, it isn’t clear which one of them will take it.”

*Please note York-South Weston Candidates Joey Carpinha, Gulri Harprett, Lekan Olawoye, and Luis Portillo were not included as possible choices in this poll. The list was shortened for the convenience of respondents.

As a result, the poll may understate the possible support for these candidates who were not named to respondents.

Forum Research's selection of which candidates to include (beyond council incumbents) does not reflect any potential strength of each candidate.
