The majority, close to 6-in-10, think Toronto should follow Mississauga’s lead and start licensing, zoning and regulating medical marijuana production facilities (59%).
The majority approve of the retail and housing development proposed for the Honest Ed’s site at Bloor and Bathurst (57%).
One half have flown in or out only from Pearson International in the past year (52%), one tenth have flown only in and out of Billy Bishop City Centre Airport (9%) and about one tenth have flown from both (13%).
The plurality, more than 4-in-10, agree there should be a second NHL team in Toronto (43%).

Close to 3-in-10 say the downtown relief line (DRL) is the city’s most urgent transit priority out of 6 presented, and it is followed by the Scarborough subway (19%), the Eglinton Crosstown (12%) and the SmartTrack rail transit network (11%).
Mayor John Tory’s approval remains very high, and stable (January 25 - 67%, February 21 - 65%) and his approval as mayor currently exceeds Rob Ford’s approval as councillor by 20 points (Tory - 65%, Ford - 45%).
The slim majority (51%) approved of the idea of spending an extra $100 million (on top of the budgeted $3 billion) to extend the Scarborough Subway from three stops to four.
Fully 6-in-10 do not think the TDSB does a good job of running Toronto’s schools (61%), while fewer than one fifth think a good job is being done (19%).
Exactly equal proportions of those who said they were NHL fans approved or disapproved (39% each) of Maple Leafs coach Randy Carlyle being fired, while just fewer than one quarter had no opinion (22%).
