In a random sampling of public opinion taken by the Forum Poll™ among 923 Toronto voters, one half disapprove of city council's ban on all-ages electronic dance music events at The Ex (50%).
Olivia Chow and John Tory lead in the polls, Rob Ford falls back and Norm Kelly and Doug Ford fail to impress. At the same time, in his absence from city hall, Rob Ford's approval rating is down sharply to a historic low.
A public opinion poll in Ontario shows that the Liberals are leading in the votes, with Kathleen Wynne seen as the best possible Premier in the upcoming election.
Costco had the highest score for customer satisfaction by far, with two thirds (63%) "very satisfied". The nearest competitor on this overall satisfaction measure among Canadian retailers, department stores and Big Box stores, is Walmart (37% very satisfied).
In a national public opinion poll, research shows that Liberals will hold the seats in the by-elections for Trinity-Spadina and Scarborough-Agincourt ridings, while Conservatives will win the Macleod riding.
In the new federal riding, Burlington North-Oakville, Liberals and Conservatives are neck and neck, the NDPs not a factor.
Close to 4-in-10 will vote for the Liberals (38%) in the upcoming provincial election, compared to just more than a third who will vote PC (35%).
One fifth claimed TD Canada Trust as their primary bank (19%), along with just fewer who claim RBC is their main bank (17%). Following these two are CIBC and Caisse Populaire Désjardians (13% each) and Scotiabank (11%).
4-in-10 will vote Progressive Conservative if the election were held today (39%) compared to just more than a third who would vote Liberal (34%).
A public opinion poll has the PC party slightly ahead of the Liberal, but approval of Hudak below the Liberal and NDP leaders. A liberal minority is a possible projection based on the data.
