Toronto, March 16th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 966 Toronto voters, (45%) say they are familiar with the ranked ballot system of voting. (27%) say no, and (28%) are unsure.

Majority Favours Bike Lanes

Toronto, March 16th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 966 Toronto voters, the majority (57%) say they are in favour of bike lanes, overall. Just over a quarter (27%) oppose bike lanes and (15%) respond they don’t know.

PCs Overtake Liberals in Toronto

Toronto, March 16th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 966 Toronto voters, amongst those decided and leaning, the PCs (36%) have extended a five-point lead over the governing Liberals (31%). The PC lead is up four percent since February (1% lead over Liberals on Feb. 10). The NDP are unchanged at (22%), as are the Green (7%), but the collective “other parties” is up to (4%) (2%: Feb. 10).

Plurality Support Regulation for Airbnb

Toronto, March 16th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 966 Toronto voters, (47%) of respondents say that Airbnb should be regulated in Toronto. (20%) say no, it should not be regulated, and (33%) say that they do not know.

Most believe roads safe for pedestrians, not for cyclists

Toronto, February 09th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 1,090 Toronto voters, the majority (44%) believe that roads are safe for pedestrians, while over a third (37%) believe they are unsafe for pedestrians, and (20%) are unsure.

In a random sampling of public opinion taken by the Forum Poll™ among 730 Toronto voters the evening after Mayor John Tory announced his support for tolling the Gardiner Expressway and the Don Valley Parkway to pay for transit projects, there is an exactly even split in opinion on the idea. Just fewer than a half approve (46%) and the same proportion disapprove (45%).
