Just fewer than half recall seeing or hearing advertisements for the government’s Economic Action Plan (45%), while the majority do not recall these ads (55%).
The plurality, close to half, approve of the court’s decision to free Omar Khadr (45%), while one third disapprove of this decision (33%).
Almost exactly equal proportions, 3-in-10, will vote Conservative (31%), Liberal (31%) or NDP (30%) if the federal election were held today.
Former Toronto police chief Bill Blair leads the NDP incumbent, Dan Harris, by 8 points (42% to 34%).
Alberta voters the night before the provincial election, close to one half will vote NDP (45%), while fewer than a quarter will vote for either the Progressive Conservatives or the Wildrose Party (23% each).
More than 4-in-10 will vote for the NDP (42%) compared to fewer than a quarter who will vote Wildrose (24%) and fewer yet who will vote for the incumbent Progressive Conservatives (21%).
Just more than a third will vote Conservative (35%) if a federal election occurred today, while just more than 3-in-10 will vote for the Liberals (31%).
Almost 4-in-10 (38%) will vote NDP in the election called for May 5th, while one quarter (25%) will vote for the Wildrose Party and one fifth will vote PCAA (20%).
Less than 3-in-10 (29%) approve of the budget, while as many as 4-in-10 (40%) disapprove.
About one third will support the Conservatives (33%) or the Liberals in the next federal election (35%).
