Majority Favours Bike Lanes

Toronto, March 16th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 966 Toronto voters, the majority (57%) say they are in favour of bike lanes, overall. Just over a quarter (27%) oppose bike lanes and (15%) respond they don’t know.

PCs Overtake Liberals in Toronto

Toronto, March 16th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 966 Toronto voters, amongst those decided and leaning, the PCs (36%) have extended a five-point lead over the governing Liberals (31%). The PC lead is up four percent since February (1% lead over Liberals on Feb. 10). The NDP are unchanged at (22%), as are the Green (7%), but the collective “other parties” is up to (4%) (2%: Feb. 10).

Plurality Support Regulation for Airbnb

Toronto, March 16th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 966 Toronto voters, (47%) of respondents say that Airbnb should be regulated in Toronto. (20%) say no, it should not be regulated, and (33%) say that they do not know.

Canadians Still Strongly Disapprove of Donald Trump

Toronto, March 12th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 1,340 Canadian voters, 2-in-3 disapprove of Donald Trump (67%), the same proportion (66%) as recorded on January 22nd. The number of Canadians that approve of Donald Trump (22%) is down one percent since January 22nd, with the same 11% not sure whether they approve or disapprove.

Majority Think Federal Motion M103 Needs Work

Toronto, March 12th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 1,340 Canadian voters, (40%) think the motion put forward by a Federal Liberal MP should remove the focus on one specific religion from it, (31%) respond that all religions should be mentioned in the motion, and only (14%) say that the motion should be left as is. (15%) say they do not know.

Plurality Think it’s OK for Ministers to Attend Fundraisers

Toronto, March 12th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 1,340 Canadian voters, (41%) do not believe it’s unethical for the Prime Minister or his Ministers to appear as special guests at a fundraiser for their political party. (36%) believe it’s unethical, while (24%) do not know.

Plurality Think Current System of Voting A-OK

Toronto, March 8th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 1,340 Canadian voters, (45%) support the Federal Government’s decision to keep Canadian voting procedures the same. (38%) do not support the move, while (17%) do not know.

More than Two-Thirds Oppose Government Loans to Private Companies

Asylum Seekers Should Enter the Country Legally: Plurality

Toronto, March 6th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 1,340 Canadian voters, (44%) respond that asylum seekers who enter the country illegally should not be allowed to seek asylum in Canada. (36%) say they should be allowed, and (20%) do not know.
