John Tory maintains narrowing lead in Toronto campaign

– In a random sampling of public opinion taken by the Forum Poll™ among 1945 Toronto voters five days after Karen Stintz dropped out of the mayoral race, just more than a third will vote for John Tory in the municipal election on October 27 (34%), while just more than 3-in-10 will vote for Rob Ford (31%).

Mississauga mayor's race stalled in tie

In a random sampling of public opinion taken by the Forum Poll™ among a sample of 696 Mississauga voters, almost exactly equal proportions, just more than a quarter, will vote either for Steve Mahoney (27%) or Bonnie Crombie (26%) for mayor in the municipal election scheduled for October 27.

Liberal lead tightens

In a random sampling of public opinion taken by the Forum Poll™ among 1798 Canadian voters, just more than 4-in-10 will vote Liberal in the next election (41%), giving the party a nine point lead over the Conservatives (32%). This is in comparison to last month at this time when the spread was sixteen points (July 19, 2014 - Liberals - 44%, Conservatives - 28%).

Two thirds support legalization/decriminalization for marijuana

In a random sampling of public opinion taken by the Forum Poll™ among 1268 Toronto voters, more will now vote for John Tory than will vote for either Olivia Chow or Rob Ford, and Chow has seen her vote share decline yet again. In addition, John Tory's favourables are significantly higher than any other candidate's.
